The Indian company Ola Electric has planned to build a plant for the production of electric scooters on the outskirts of Bangalore.

Ola Electric is entering the electric car market, which is already dominated by names such as Tesla and the Chinese Niu, although initially with a modest two-wheeled vehicle.

If all goes according to plan, the company intends to produce 10 million electric scooters by summer 2022.

This production capacity means that after the expansion of the plant next year, the company will produce one scooter every two seconds.

Agarwal has not yet announced prices, but says his product will compete with traditional scooters, which cost about $ 1,000 apiece.

The availability of vehicles can be the key to their promotion in the Indian market.

The Ola plant will employ more than 3,000 robots and 10,000 workers.

Indian electric two-wheeler manufacturer Ola Electric has announced two new models, the S1 and S1 Pro.

They feature best-in-class performance, high-tech features and a very affordable price.

It is assumed that the annual production will be about 10 million copies, and scooters will be sold outside of India.

Ola S1 electric scooter can accelerate up to 90 km / h.

The non-removable battery built into the driver's footwell has a capacity of 3 kWh and is designed for trips up to 121 km.

Ola S1 Pro has the same power plant, but its top speed is 115 km/h.

It is equipped with a 4 kWh battery providing a power reserve of up to 181 km.

The mass of both models, for which 10 color options will be offered, is approximately 121 kg.

According to the manufacturer, in fast mode, the battery can be fully charged in about half an hour.

And in 18 minutes of connecting to a powerful charger, the Ola electric scooter will receive a supply of energy sufficient to overcome 75 km.

It takes 4.5 hours to charge from household power using the Ola S1 portable device, and 6.5 hours for the S1 Pro.
