History of Kawasaki Motorcycles

Above on the page there are several PDF Manuals, Electric Wiring Diagram & Fault Codes DTC for KAWASAKI Motorcycles.

Kawasaki is a signature bright green color, impressive motorsport success and a unique vision of what a two-wheeled vehicle should be.

The company is part of the so-called Big Four motorcycle manufacturers alongside Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki, but goes its own way in engineering and design.

The world-renowned manufacturer of two-wheeled vehicles, part of the Kawasaki Heavy Industries concern, initially specialized in various fields of activity, for example, in cargo transportation and ship repair, and later in aircraft construction.

After the WW2, the United States imposed a ban on the development of the local aviation industry, and then in the late forties, Kawasaki began developing its own engines for bicycles, since Japan needed cheap vehicles.

The complete takeover of the Meguro brand in 1963 made it possible to multiply production.

Interestingly, Kawasaki's passion for large-capacity, powerful models has long roots - it began in 1965 with the introduction of the W1 motorcycle, equipped with a two-cylinder 650 cc engine producing 50 hp.

At that time, the model, which marked a turn in the history of the brand, was unmatched in Japan itself.

Kawasaki's lineup covers major market niches and segments, offering motorcycles for all tastes.

First of all, the sensational and unprecedented Ninja H2R superbike with a four-cylinder 998 cc engine and a mechanical supercharger deserves a mention.

The motorcycle develops 310 hp, is able to develop 400 km / h in 26 seconds and does not have access to public roads - the manufacturer considered that the technical characteristics and dynamic potential of the H2R were excessive for civilian use.

You can drive on city streets and highways on the Kawasaki Ninja H2, also equipped with a compressor 4-cylinder, developing an astonishing 243 hp. with inertial supercharging.

Finally, the range includes the sport-touring H2 SX model and the ferocious naked with the same engine derated with 200 hp.

Other representatives of the sports and sports-tourist line of Kawasaki - 1 liter sport bike ZX-10R, the younger ZX-6RNinja 650 and the most affordable Ninja 400, as well as the Ninja 1000SX - are distinguished by naturally aspirated four-cylinder engines traditional for motor vehicles of this format and a familiar design.

The range of naked gears is also wide and includes the two-cylinder Z400 and Z650, the older Z900 inline-four and, finally, the 142-horsepower Z1000.
